Crane Lake

This 100-acre lake provides fishing opportunity for bass, sunfish, and catfish. Boats can be launched from a gravel ramp. Picnic sites are provided, but no camping is allowed.

Fishing: Boat or bank fishing for largemouth bass, channel catfish and panfish. Special regulations in effect-see bulletin board. Electric motors only. Gravel boat ramp.


Trail: Crane Lake National Recreation Trail. Five mile double loop trail, the south loop of which connects to the Marble Creek Section of the Ozark Trail. Hiking, mountain bike and equestrian use permitted.


Picnic Area: There are six picnic sites available, each with a table and pedestal grill.





 Directions

From Ironton, MO, take Hwy 21 south 12.5 miles. Turn east onto gravel County Road 124 at Chloride, MO, and go 3.2 miles to County Road 131. Turn south; go 1.9 miles to the lake.
