Big Bay Recreation Area

Big Bay Recreation Area is on the shore of 53,000-acre Table Rock Lake, a premier vacation spot in the Ozarks. Popular activities on Table Rock Lake are fishing, boating, and swimming. No lifeguard on duty. Big Bay is on Big Creek tributary, off the main channel of Table Rock Lake. A boat launch area provides access to the lake.

 Some More Things to Know

Campgrounds: has 35 single sites, each with table, lantern post, and fire ring. Drinking water and handicap access flush toilets are centrally located. Paved parking pads are fairly level; 20 sites can accomodate RVs up to 30 feet, of these 5 sites can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Most sites overlook the lake. On-site host will assist you.

Picnic Area: has 16 single sites, each with Table: most have a grill. No drinking water; Vaulted toilet is centrally located.





 Directions

From Shell Knob, MO take Hwy 39 south to the junction with Hwy YY.
Go east 2.5 miles on YY; turn left at the Forest Service sign and go another half-mile.
